Draw Furnaces
Williams provides a variety of different sizes and features for our Batch Tempering Furnaces. Our Batch Tempering Furnaces are commonly used in our Batch Integral Quench Furnaces lines. However, we supply them as stand-alone units as well.
The Williams Draw Furnace is well known for excellent temperature uniformity +/- 10F or better from 300F to 1400F. The furnaces can be either direct gas fired, indirect fired, or electrically heated.
In addition, these units can operate with nitrogen gas or argon gas with our cooling systems to prevent scale and discoloration. When equipped with our cooling system, the Williams Temper Furnace can automatically perform double and triple tempering if desired.
The furnace can be loaded/unloaded with a standard charge car or manually loaded via forklift. These units are equipped with alloy rollers rails or stationary alloy rails for manually loading and unloading.
